IEA Wind Technology Collaboration Programme
Launched in 2021, Task 48 has formed a strong community working together to identify and mitigate barriers to the development and deployment of AWE systems. The Task provides a structured forum for international collaborations between researchers, supply chains, and users to exchange needs, ideas, and experiences. Task 48 collaborates with other IEA Wind Tasks and related groups like the Interreg NW-Europe Project DEM-AWE and the doctoral training network AWETRAIN to help make sure that R&D is aligned with users’ needs. Task 48 is organized in five work packages representing the current focus areas of technology research, development and deployment.
