kiteKRAFT GmbH

kiteKRAFT was founded in 2019 on the basis of the MSc and PhD research of the company’s core team at the Technical University of Munich. The developed box-wing kite uses ram-air turbines to the harvest wind energy onboard and a conducting tether to transmit the generated electricity to the ground station. The current development target for 2025 is a 100 kW system. The technology will subsequently be scaled up stepwise towards MW-size.
