Agustí Porta Ko got to know airborne wind energy during his masters study in aerospace engineering at Delft University of Technology. Fascinated by the promising and innovative technology, he started an internship at Norwegian developer Kitemill, and then finalized his studies with a graduation project on the optimization of a multi-element airfoil for a rigid airborne wind energy kite. Agustí has since worked as a Research Engineer in numerical methods at the International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE) and then as Data Scientist at ALG, a transport and infrastructure consulting firm, in Barcelona, Spain.
